Patients often begin with a conservative dose of 3mg per week taken at one time. With this dose, patients get the therapeutic benefits of rapamycin mTOR inhibition, but also are able to see how their body responds to the medication. Our team will oversee the usage of this medication and typically will incrementally increase the dosage to 5mg/week. In some cases, we increase the dosage beyond 5mg/week depending on body weight and personalized health considerations.
