High blood pressure after 4 months of Rapamycin

Been taking 5mg once a week and went to MD for annual physical. Shocked to learn that my BP was 154/90! Normally 130/70.
Can’t wait to get my lipid results back (sarcasm).

Rapamycin is pretty much out of your system in a week, so it should be pretty easy to determine by experiment if it’s the culprit in BP increase.

Did the doctor confirm the high reading? I got a similar high reading a few months back after 9 months at 5 mg. The initial high reading was via nurse aid using automated BP device. The doc comes in, uses an old fashion cuff and declares BP normal 130 over 70 something

I have been checking my BP fairly regularly before and after starting Rapamycin and had the good fortune of my BP going down and being able to discontinue my BP medication. I suspect my increase in exercise is what lowered my BP.
