Chemical-free dermal hydration cream

Was advised to use “chemical-free dermal hydration cream” at night after rapamycin cream but I have no idea what this is. Looking for ideas and recommendations. Male, if that matters. Never used anything like this before but dry skin is already an issue without adding rapamycin.

[edit] I found this

Aqua, glycerin (humectant), butryospermum parkii (shea butter) fruit, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, glyceryl monostearate SE (emulsifier), cetyl alcohol (fatty acid), prunus armeniaca (apricot kernel) oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, stearic acid (fatty acid), oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, sodium levulinate (preservative from sugar cane), sodium anisate (preservative from aniseed), sodium hyaluronate (salt of hyaluronic acid), aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, glyceryl caprylate (emollient), xanthan gum (rheology modifier), amorphophallus konjac root extract, argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, tocopherol (vitamin E), sodium ascorbyl phosphate (stable salt of vitamin C), ferulic acid (antioxidant from rice). Scented version contains lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil (linalool 0.045%, geraniol 0.0015%, limonene 0.001%).

I wouldn’t call it “chemical free”, but they say “Our products contain no parabens, silicones, PEGS, SLS, SLES, or mineral oils” so are those the specific chemicals of concern?

That has hyaluronic acid and for older people, it it very drying. Don’t use it! Hyaluronic acid will draw moisture from INSIDE your skin, making it extremely dry and unhealthy. I really wish people would get their facts straight about hyaluronic acid. It is not what people, especially us elderly needs to be using to correct dry skin. Ever!

Your doc is just recommending a non-toxic moisturizer. I highly recommend Living Libations Best Skin Ever:

Non-toxic, non-comedogenic, smells heavenly, and it’s an all-natural, plant-based moisturizing face oil.

Hi- This is Shriya from the Healthspan Clinical Team! In the skin-care/beauty industry the term “chemical-free” is generally used to describe a product that does not contain any synthetic or artificial ingredients. When pairing a hydration cream with our rapamycin protocol, we recommend using a cream that does not have harmful chemicals such as parabens, silicones, and certain fragrances.

I am currently using OneSkin during the day and the topical Rapamycin at night. ( Topical Products for Healthy Aging | OneSkin)

Our clinical team has recommended CeraVe Moisturizing Cream in the past. Do you have any experience with that?
