# Rapamycin Drug/Supplement Interactions we should be aware of?

Hello, fellow Rapa users. Have any of you had clear and noticeable issues with negative interactions from Rapa combined with other drugs or supplements?

Metformin increases the bioavailability of Rapamycin. In addition it also blunts the side effects and enhances some of the beneficial effects.

Grapefruit juice taken 1-4 hours before Rapamycin increases bioavailability by 3-5X.

Taking Rapamycin with a fat source such as EVOO can increase bioavailability by 30%
