# Most bizarre side effect!

Okay, this is going to sound nuts but I’m going to put it out there for the sake of science! I’d like to know if anyone else has noticed a change in eye color?

While this sounds impossible, it is known that certain glaucoma medications can turn blue eyes brown, and it has been established that a person’s pH can affect eye color. I’ve even known a person whose brown eyes turned hazel after eating a vegan diet for a number of years. Well, my brown eyes are now somehow hazel/olive green with an only small amount of brown remaining just around the pupil. My husband even noticed. He was looking at me curiously and asked me if I was wearing colored contacts. I said I was not and he replied, “How strange, your eyes look golden.”

I’ve done nothing different except 5 doses oral Rapamycin so I don’t know what else to attribute this change to!

My eye color has changed from brown to a mix of green,brown and blue but this process started before Rappamycin
